I love that when that happens.

We're suddenly alleviated here in the last hour.  Steady morning rains bangin' away at the awnings had become sort of hypnotic.  Somewhere between that state and a sun burst just splashed through the windows me must of finally escaped - or begun the break out process.

I remember Memorial Day weekend in 2020 it was another rainy and cold weekend…temps in the mid 40’s with that one here.  This one was mid 50’s…but small consolation.

Only the 9th wettest gee that's great

Looking good for at least a little bit of clearing later this afternoon even in SE areas. Back in the warmth tomorrow.

Guarantee those of us on the immediate coast will see a full solar breakout within the last hour or so of the day, while folks west of Springfield will have already caught up on any missed napage. Sometimes I feel like we’re following some kind of poor, but totally predictable (and tragic) script on Memorial Day.

What a nice afternoon.  Shut the pellet stove off last night and now it’s 75.  This is whats going on around my house.  Merlin app is fantastic.

That’s awesome. I use this app too and the number of titmice, warblers and chipping sparrows has been insane this year. Have also seen quite a few red bellied woodies making their presence known this year.
