Still over an inch per hour rates, I’m in the middle of it. . 4 minutes ago, The 4 Seasons said: Yeah its just lighter rates, i highly doubt its a full slot and the band over New London is trucking west again and filling in. Out of curiosity what is the difference between a dry slot and subsidence?

JJBASHB
-Sn in MHT. Looks like maybe 1/4-1/2” at best on the colder surfaces. Vis only dropped to 1 mi at the airport last night. Models might not have been sharp enough with the northern edge up this way, even with the late trends yesterday. That band looks insane down there. Hopefully it can rot for awhile and we get some prolific totals.

butterfish55
House shaking wind right now. Kind of impossible to tell how much snow has fallen. Just an incredible storm for this area. Power is still on, but the gennie is ready if needed (I hope I get to use it)

I mean you can’t even clear in those conditions because it fills in.

Yeah it’s not a dryslot in the traditional sense. But this was around the time models had the E MA dynamics stealing the show from WNE although there will still be some banding there.
