.38 liquid since then.  So would assume they at least have 19 or so now

It's good ratio snow (at least in the heavier banding) so it would be pretty surprising if they don't hit 20 by 1 o'clock.

What a week of tracking this monster . Alot of ups and downs. Love this hobby.
Kudos to Nam ( Big kudos to the Rap, HREF and HRRR )

I follow and just read. ALWAYS recognize your optimism but even you have up on this one, was shocked lol.

Love the fact that we have guys like RU..., weatherpruf, blizzardo also in the area. Fun to check totals against others.
In marginal temperature situations, places like Metuchen and Colonia almost always get more than me down by the Raritan Bay.

Also I have a nyc mesonet station right down the street from me...it has a snow depth sensor...it helps me verify my totals.

I'm not sure but I gotta be nearing 30...

LOOKS LIKE there's a sick band sitting around sayreville and east brunswick; we might be in subsidence right now but who's counting at close to 22 inches....what i cleaned was bad enough and i am not done. old man has to take a break.

Have not bothered to measure anywhere but this feels closer to Jan 31 2021 than 2016 for sure - high teens. But still at 1/4m vis.

absolute stunner of a storm. Not much wind though here.IMG_7495.thumb.jpeg.7edab54e3e19812df9dba5d34ad9bef1.jpeg

Correct. 2016 was much longer and the cars were buried. I have never seen snow like that in my life

.38 liquid on Central Park from 7-11 am and the 7 am measurement for snow was 15.1 inches.

They have to be at 19-20 inches now minimum.

Thanks. With that, now up to ~1.65” liquid equivalent at CPark through 11AM!

This is deserving gold medal status with more snow since yesterday than even some of Olympic ski areas this entire month!

to be in the top 5 snowstorms for central park we need to get to 20.9 inches to tie at number 5..

Should be doable if that last band holds together nicely for a while as it slowly drifts east and disappates.

Nice reporting. My purely experiential eyeballing of the snow during that time was 17-18” :scooter:
