Everything is shutting down early today. Didn't have to call out because store closed early on its own.

Snow is still melting on sidewalks and the road in front of my house.

21.7/19.3 south of Clayton, GA. Right at 7 inches now. Another band building in to the east let's see if I can get under it!

So far, Clayton, GA has seen 6.0" of snow. Balsam, NC and 2 S Maggie Valley, NC have seen 9.0".

Dang, the radar in the Triad, Metrolina, Upstate, Midlands, and foothills is looking fat!

The RAP hasn't been perfect but it has easily been the best short range model for this storm so far. Consistent on showing the dry slot in the right place and the band from Charlotte extending up to the VA border.
