psv88
Looks like the coastal is robbing the moisture from Western LI right now. Lighter echoes, while to the west NE NJ continues to absolutely crush. Someone will get 2 feet around there. Down to 19.7 WTF
Juturna
This is the heaviest sleet I can remember since I was a child in like 1992 I believe? I remember the ice being so thick on the snow top that I could walk on it and push around my big tonka trucks without it sinking down.

I went and looked at a bunch of wunderground stations and it looks like the north shore spots have dropped a degree or two and around the expressway just started dropping a little. Curious to see if that turns around soon by you. I assume you're not very much south of the expressway.

eduggs
90% sleet over the past 30 minutes. Measured 7.5" at 11:30am and 10" at 3pm. Not much accumulation after 1pm or so. Still showing 10" new so probably some compaction going on because of the sleet.

I run a weather page on Facebook for my town and I stuck with 8-12" since Monday. Ended right at the upper end. Massive power outages underway with rapidly falling temperatures. Carry on.....
