Wounded Duck Strikes Back: Dec 26 & 27th Winter Storm Obs

Alright, Boxing Day is here, 12z runs are in, and hope springs eternal for the once downtrodden winter weenies that have tracked this one for about a week now. The once wounded duck has rehabbed, bulked up on eggnog and leftovers, and is on the attack.

It's time to bring this one home.

Obs here. May the odds be ever in your favor.

23/0 here with lowering clouds, have to overcome the dry air before it comes down, I think we're going to wind up with two bands, one major and a secondary NE of the main one, who's in between is sucking exhaust imho... we'll see how it pans out, point and click has me at 9 now and ALY right there too, up from 5 yesterday.. go time!

Really missed an opportunity to call this Boxing Day II: The Wounded Duck

Not a classic and historic nor'easter like Boxing Day but a large warning level event for a lot of SNE/Tri-State i think deserves the sequel name, especially if it over performs.

OVC/25

I didn't experience Boxing Day so all I know is the lore about it, and I just couldn't bring myself to putting this in the same class.

There's a chance my area outperforms Boxing Day 1

Much of CT could outperform Boxing Day 2010….there was a big sucker hole in that one that also extended up into chunks of MA where totals were like 5-8”.

Possibly though 10-18" in W CT is still quite a lot

I dont think you would get much complaints from SNE considering how that played out..The Boxing Day Fiasco. Underperformed most areas save Berkshires and that stripe from Essex to Bristol counties

Tri-State might have something to say about it though - ha

Boxing Day sucked here. Just hours of shredded baking powder in roaring wind. I'm more excited for this one honestly.
