As of 10 am we had 6.3" and then I did my 3rd shovel (so much easier in batches, lol) and as of 10:45 am with the snow winding down we have 6.6"; could get another 0.1" or so based on radar. Huge overperformer from my 5" guesstimate and the 4.5" NWS forecast (and some media forecasts for only 1-3" for our town).

It's so pretty out there - great to finally have a decent snowstorm that was all snow and at/below 32F so it all accumulated. Biggest snowfall since 11.25" on 2/17/24 that was a freak megaband storm; our last "regular" storm with more snow was 7.5" on 1/29/22. Winds are about to pick up and it's going to get quite cold with lows in the mid-teens and it won't get above 32F until Wednesday, so shovel before sunset if you can as the snow was wetter than expected and will freeze solid later.

had stopped at the store around 10 am or so in woodbridge mall and was surprised at a last second band that was pretty heavy; despite it being a weekend, the cleanup was crap. the lots are a mess.

Wrapping up here in northern Queens, should be completely done within 30 minutes or so, just light snow now. Cleared off top of the car and windshield at 8:30, I see it covered now so will check soon to see how much has fallen over the past 3 hours

2 inches on top of car after being cleared off around 830 this morning, and there were a few inches already on the car at that time. So we added about 2 inches in the past 3 hours. About to finish up here anyway, maybe an additional 0.1" by the time it wraps up

Just came in from shoveling . I thought it would be fluffier than this lol

29 right now

you had a good band come through for a while, probably definitely near 4" now for you

Just finished shoveling. Measured a few spots, came back with 5.5" in SW CT. Started off slow this morning at 3.5", then quickly got up to the 5.5" final. Good overperformer, hope this bodes well for rest of season.
