Man, that was one hell of a weenie run from the 00z Euro. Guess it can only get worse from here lol. I imagine December '95 was a bit similar to what it's showing. No KU but just a nickel 'n dime pattern with 3-6/4-8" type events every 5 days or so.

You’re back!   I wasn’t worried, just disappointed in your prolonged absence.  

I think it will be a fun winter for all in SNE.  Especially inland.

It's probably the result of the split forcing in the Pacific. EPS/GEPS with the MJO 8 like pattern while GEFS loops around.

Good Greenland ridging but lower heights in AK probably means cross polar flow is reduced a bit. Still looks conducive to threats though. Not torch at all. Can’t ask for much more.

Seems we lost the weekend threat. Maybe 1-3" or something but it isn't looking quite as potent. Always had the look of a quick changeover down here in the tropics anyway. Euro showing a couple threats beyond that as well. Should be a fun few weeks!

I'm surprised some of this morning's dusting has stuck around.  One wouldn't expect that during the daytime this early in the season. 

 

I just noticed they dropped my progged Thursday night low to 7.  Man cold so early in the season.
