Why do people need to be told this 10000 times? It is as bad as... drink plenty of water when it is hot and take frequent breaks. Don't over exert yourself when shoveling snow and use your knees, not your back.  Don't stand outside when you hear thunder/lightning. etc. We really do live in a world of stupid people.

* Until 430 PM EDT.

* At 402 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Municipal Stadium to near Saint James to near
  Kearneysville, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches
           to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as
           damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by
           downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.
           Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

       Not sure why they used an 80 dew point to represent the surface, but that is not representative of a low-level parcel.   The mixed-layer values (2800 CAPE, -6 LI) are far more realistic.   Still a good environment, but the extreme environment that those "surfaced-based" values would suggest.
