The sky just hasn’t had a stormy appearance today. Kind of a disorganized cloud deck.

Went out to take a look at our looks like it could rain but… Anyways can actually hear thunder off of that one to my NW. Besides that thunder it is absolutely still quiet out. No birds, no breeze.

Definitely very humid and can hear thunder in the distance. I just feel like we do better with blue skies and building cumulus towers. Today there’s been all layers of clouds it seems.

But maybe the humidity wins out and we finally get a good soaker.

Been watching the weather where our daughter is in Utah and it sounds glorious.  Right now it's 73 with a DP of 50.  Tomorrow she returns home to eastern NC

Yep, visited son in Park City earlier in the month. While it did get into the low to mid 80's (and upper 90's in SLC) most days the DP hung in the 50's, awesome. It even rained (monsoonal?) two afternoons we were there, first rain they had in 3 weeks, I was asked to stay longer for the moisture lol. Funny thing, I can't seem to get it to rain HERE in last week or two though.

Storms forming to my SW.  But I can already see one cell sliding up 81 just to my east, literally a 1/4 mile.  This NE trajectory usually leads to heartbreak for me.

Radar looks outstanding out that way.

Well, we have the thunder again, 5th day, and again a few sprinkles. Looks like the storm is gonna go just west of us, amazingly EVERY storm on the radar is going ENE/NE except this one, going almost due N. IF it followed all the other storms it would hit here.
