HIPPYVALLEY Posted yesterday at 01:46 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:46 AM So far it’s been a fairly hot and humid summer but with enough mild downs to keep people sane. It certainly has not been an exciting summer and for the few that are expecting a major hurricane to hit SNE, good luck with that. I think the hurricane season is going to become Gulf Coast centered by September.
HIPPYVALLEY Posted yesterday at 01:48 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:48 AM I’ve never experienced a summer in W MA with so little thunder. It’s actually the one thing we do best in New England and it has just been so benign. 3

Hottest month on record, then top 5, then top 10…if he could only move the goalposts at MetLife Stadium, the Jets are a playoff team.
weathafella
It feels like it’s been a hot summer thanks to humidity. Still a solid month left of potential for high temperatures. If WAR hooks up with the Rockies/midnation ridge watch out. August always seems humid no matter what.

This could mess up quite a bit with the forecast, however, I think we would have to watch for some enhanced supercell potential from Mass Pike (maybe just south) into central Connecticut early PM.
dendrite
Remember…our normals are torched now. So a +2F now (which is decently AN for summer) would be much higher back in a decade where most of us were growing up.
