Just saw a big ol fox outside our front door screeching like a banshee. I think it was looking for our borderline feral cat outside and wanted to have a little fun time in the garden lol. In other news, the dews have returned with a vengeance! Let that sweet, salty air in baby.

Did it suck beer?

Kidding aside, I’ve had a half dozen on me in the last 2 weeks. A new record high.

Three yesterday for me. This strain worries me a bit. The man contracted it a few miles from the woodyard. I've already had lyme a few times and was one of the first to contract anaplasmosis. CDC actually called me. I had a temperature of 106 and was delirious.

I'm liking the subtle yet coherent trends toward a progressive look over the days leading and throughout the Mem Day weekend...

This is not only more consistent with the circulation manifold of Earth for the past 15 years ( <_<  ), it also has the upshot of not inundating - or being as likely to ... - the entire holiday weekend.    In fact, the 0 and 6z GFS runs are even done with it all by the time Saturday rolls around, having brought it all through by the preceding Thur/Fri... So progressive in fact that it brings a fropa from an entirely different Pacific wave propagation by Sunday.

Euro's still trying to scheme a way to ruin the whole thing but even it's stressed in that solution.   LOL

Tomorrow may actually be the first day that qualifies as uncomfortably warm and human. new NAM has low 80s with quite high DPs

I think there are a few odd birds on this site that find it uncomfortable to be human....as someone that has been to several weather conference, I can tell you that there are.

Euro will cave to more progressive. It's the same shit as the past few winters, where we see this massive phase/blocky storm potential on the models Day 7-8-9+, then the aligning pieces slowly begin to unravel/separate and it all ends up being a progressive/disjointed piece of shite as we get within Day 5 or 6.

It's 2.5 years since my anaplas experience.  Picked up the tick while hunting on Veterans' Day (clever little monster hid in the short hairs) and 10 days later I was totally miserable - wife thought it was a stroke.  Diagnosis on 11/22, doxy Rx 23rd, felt much better 24th but finished the 10-day regimen.
