half the days in an average January, if you placed April 22 sun over head would also be 54 F -

it's winter still.  sorry... Like I said this morning, we're not out of the gravity well yet

I have yet to be in the winter well since 2022. It's been perpetual Autumn.

Okay put it this way... whatever version of winter one is suffering or celebrating, notwithstanding ... that season persists.  Lol

But again ...I suspect there's a pretty clear switch sweeping across the continent later this week. Friday transitions.   Saturday big high moves ESE of the area ... and heights rise modestly positive while 850 deeper cold rapidly retreats into higher latitude Canada.

Sunday and Monday solidly AN with overnight lows this time also staying above average.  Either a proper front or a BD perhaps after that doesn't have the same annoying shade temps

53/16. She dry out there

The 1pm ob at MVL was 40/9.

Up to 45F now but I’m going to say in the sun it does feel warmer than that.  Hoodie while active is plenty warm enough right now.

This in November would feel frigid.  Weird how the body changes throughout the year.

Numerous NNE sites with RH <20%.  At 4 PM, PSM was 55 with TD 7, RH 14%.  Chilly up in the County - FVE 32, west wind 20G35.  Rest of NNE is fairly close to 50.  If it were a Saturday and 10-15° milder with the breeze and low RH, we'd be reading about brushfires.  Might be having some in the NJ pine barrens even on Monday.
