I was about to post the same.. its all closed, including streets not usually prone to flooding. That's flash flooding..then there is river flooding to come, how that will rank historically will be interesting

Long Island will be relatively unscathed compared to the City on west.

Reminds me of the remnants of Hurricane Patricia in Oct 2015 when I was in Austin. Parts of the city had 15” from that mostly falling that morning. That’s still by far the heaviest rain I’ve ever seen. It probably beat the rain rates in this storm even. That reminded me of the Aug 2014 event in Islip.

what happened up here with Camille? The only thing I know about it is that it was a Cat 5 that hit the Gulf, no news of anything it did once it came inland
