Euro ?

Looks more tame compared to 12z. Most <2” and 2-6” BOS S and E toward the islands.

Wobbly is the word of the day

Wobbling and lashing.

Notable for folks on the immediate coast and certainly for mariners.  For the rest of us, this still has the very real threat of HH++  (heavy, heavy ho-hum).

Not sure of a wind threat inland as it may be inverted with temps in 40s-50s. Verbatim it would be windy, but certainly tempered. This isn't a screaming sou'easter like we had a couple of years ago. More of a nor'easter. Also, we don't even know how this tracks. Might be just some rain and wind with little impact as well. We should know a lot more later today.

The most important run of our lives at 12z.

NHC still going with a 30% chance of subtropical development. Looks like a warm seclusion on a lot of the guidance. Name possible? yes. Likely? no.

That's how I feel. I guess never say never, but was thinking no. I suppose a low chance of a tropical forming on the srn end of this as a weak low forms east of FL?

Speaking of that tropical low, it may do a little fuji dance with that system. Some guidance swings that around to east of the Cape. Lots of intricate things to resolve here.

Much higher chance of Kevin sleeping through most of the post season.

Nice sweep by the Yanks...they’re the real deal this year.  However, this ocean storm may be a lot less exciting round these parts.  Wouldn’t be too excited just yet.

Scooter gets all the rain he missed this summer in 1 day

Well really Aug-Sept. Jun-Jul were wet. But that's funny, a little bulls-eye near my hood.

They will crumble against Houston. Pitching >> Hitting in the post season. This storm will be fun to track but the east can have it. We’ll take the wintry ones in Dec instead.
