My husbands office is currently under a take shelter proclamation. His office is in Rockville close to Shady Grove Rd. right next to 270.

My Dad's office is close by also in Rockville. He called me about the Tornado Warning.

Don't have my rain gauge out yet but man we must have gotten about 2 inches.  Got the daughter and one other kid at the bus stop because it was hitting hard right then and there was some lightning.  I was surprised to see how many kids had no umbrellas.

Does anyone have a screenshot of the couplet?  I didn't see anything when I looked, but my loop may not have gone back far enough.

I was up on ft Reno looking at the tor warned cell. Thought there was something of a wall cloud and I like to think I saw some tube like lowering but was probably just scud. Did not see any rotation but from my vantage that may not have been noticeable. Pretty ominous looking cloud regardless

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

Motorists should not take shelter under highway overpasses. If you
cannot safely drive away from the tornado, as a last resort, either
park your vehicle and stay put, or abandon your vehicle and lie down
in a low lying area and protect yourself from flying debris

I thought you were supposed to not be in your car at all and get in a ditch or low lying place... parking your vehicle and staying put would be dangerous, no?

I love how some areas west of I-95 that hadn't been under a Tornado Watch since February 24, 2016 have been under 3 Tornado Watches in 12 days.
