Yeah the longwave ridge was def slightly west on the 12z run...that helps for sure.

I've spent most of my life between Lynn, Beverly, and now Gloucester, and if it's a colder coastal the whole north shore usually gets rocked pretty good. 

Hoping that's the case with this system as well. Will feel a lot better if the gfs and especially the euro get fully on board.
