You prob changed to snow in the Xmas 2002 nor' easter? Though it may have not been until night time which wouldn't officially be a white Xmas by the technical definition. 1998 had a good storm for SE areas on Xmas Eve...so anyone near or S of PVD got a white christmas. You had a close miss in 2000 and prob 2005, 2007, and 2008.

Can't remember which part you are from...pretty much right near PVD right?

A very safe one is 1995.

Right across the bay from PVD. I can't remember if I came home from IA in 2008, so 2007 is probably the best bet for last one.

Moving from Taunton to South Plymouth has made me realize just how narrow my goal posts have become.  I basically need no rain at the canal.

I used to live off of exit 19 from 495. I moved to Plymouth- manomet/ pinehills/beaver dam road area....i feel your pain!

It very well could be rain or a mix to start in SE areas, but flash over to S+ for a few hours. It's hauling, so I don't see one area getting a foot while others get an inch. The max and min numbers shouldn't be too far apart.

We min in GC.  Hopefully, coastal ME will do okay.

Magical Xmas Eve into Xmas Day snows. Stuff we all dream about. It’s happening.

A rare event if it does indeed occur.   2002 was rain changing to snow mid day-that's as close as we've gotten.  (A few years ago we had a coating, but I'm talking a real storm)
