I was parked on the 5th floor of a parking garage over looking the Connecticut River and walking across the deck was hard. I had to lean into it. powderfreak Posted February 16, 2016 Share Posted February 16, 2016 MQE already had a 50 knot gust. Even AUG is already pushing 45 knots and we still have several hours to go. A little elevation will go a long way here. MVL up here in the valley bottom at 750ft has been gusting into the 40s past few hours. I'm dead calm though a few miles from the ASOS. Oh yea 24 inch sway built into it, if you stand in the corner with both hands on the glass looking down its freaky. We have to close it with gusts over 45, not for safety but for the swaying freaks people out well plus safety switches on the elevator.
