He does drink wine coolers...not sure about regular wine. But limit him to one.

Otherwise he vomits on your car.

LOL--that's something to keep under your hat.  Bartel's and James'.  Delightful.

Meanwhile, one helluva way to run the 'hot stretch' of the summer.  Day 2 upon us:

Today
Partly sunny with a slight chance of showers with isolated thunderstorms this morning...then mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Patchy fog this morning. Some thunderstorms may produce gusty winds and heavy rainfall this afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall possible this afternoon. Highs in the lower 80s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Gusts up to 20 mph this afternoon. Chance of rain 80 percent

62 this morning. Nights really have not been too bad in this stretch-62,61,62 last 3.

89 yesterday at KDDH. They may have tickled 90 in between Obs. With 89 the official high, still not a single 90F day this year.

They did...high/low was 90F/60F.

High clouds may ruin that, but model srfc temps were like 85-87. We already reached and passed it. That's what I mean.

models kissed 90 down from the 95-97 originally advertised last week. Yesterday Jerry was the hottest HIndex of the year and it may in fact be the hottest HIndex day for the entire year. We march on

Good stuff, works with many dishes. High in protein. I believe that it's not technically a grain but a grass?

Rinse it for a minute of two before cooking to neutralize a natural mild bitterness on the surface.

Technically, grains ARE grasses, or at least their seeds.  Wiki states that quinoa is a "pseudocereal" and more closely related to amaranth and even to spinach than to the true cereal grains.  Have not eaten enough quinoa to judge whether great or just okay.  (There are very few foods I actually dislike, however.)

Sorry to hear how that svr-warned Mt. Vernon storm messed up a vacation - probably many vacations.  It fringed my place with 0.08", another smaller one on the same line gave us a smattering of drops, then #3 in the too-far-west string (and 5 in 2 days) dropped 0.04" just before 6 PM.  Had one just miss to the east, too, and another that would've done the same ad it not died one town to the north.

As for the ubiquitous LEW TS, seems not to do much 2 miles SE of town.
