Last year was better to the naked eye, but still cool to see even enhanced.

I saw red dimly with my eyes out but agree with Dendrite. Cold AF out.

It was definitely more vivid here with unaided eye than it was back in May, viewing this from the same vantage point in both incidences with the same light obstruction  

Light pollution is a factor folks. I’m sure you all know this but just in case.

Brilliant flashes moving across the sky.

The moonlight washed out the eastern sky, just a bit, but the entire northern skyline from West to East was lit up.

Kp spiked at sunset and Bz tanked south most of the night. It’s rare that it ever works out for us that nicely. Too bad the clouds have been a bit of a pain.

I think it was October 24. That was the real show. Then there was one in May 6 months earlier.

Sounded like around 11:30 it really popped off, but I was asleep.
