greylock looks pretty sweet

Nice shot!

Yeah Mansfield looked awesome today, with the top 2,000 feet plastered fresh white. Amazing how stark the difference can be from even 1-3" of new snow...looked like mid-winter up there. While down the valley it is brown and dead....you look up at this glimmering white mountain. It helps during these cloudy cool days to have that view to enjoy haha.

Well the point is you'd think the NWS would actually know what was falling and what to forecast. No one has had rain showers which is what they keep puttinh in Afd , forecasts and tweets . It snowed in NYC today

Everyone talked about it at work today when it was snowing, so its not just weenies its just people who were left out who are downplaying it as usual.

Yeah but it's really not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Fleeting flakes in most spots.

Almost everyone in W Mass and all of CT saw snow showers today. So their forecasts and real time updates of rain showers was /is wrong

So are they supposed to send a special weather statement that we have 38F snow showers instead of rain showers? If it doesn't impact the public and more for the area above 1k, it's not a big deal in their eyes. Agreed that maybe snow showers should be mentioned if they aren't already, but nobody is gonna be like.." Oh my god remember that day it was. 40F with snow mixed in?"
