ncforecaster89
Leaving Wilmington now to document the storm. Still deciding where to go for possible thunder snow and the jackpot area. I'm thinking around Rhoanoke Rapids right now. What do you guys think, if I may ask?

sctvman
Nate Johnson on 99.9 says it will start as rain and by 10-11pm, the pessimistic models have snow, heaviest 10pm-4am. That explains why you've been harping about mixing in Raleigh so much! (Go Wolfpack ;D)

FallsLake
For the Wake County folks, just looking at the NWS grids it looks like the 6-10 range will run north of a line from Morrisville to north of 440 to south of Rolesville to north of Zebulon. Then the 5-9 will run from Cary through Raleigh to Zebulon. Below that all the way down to the SE corner of Wake the forecast has 4-8 with sleet and freezing rain as a mixture. What it comes down to it's going to be a big storm for everybody. I think the RAH guys have a better handle on the situation.
Regan
Brad P. Said not to get caught up in the models now. It's a current event now. I admit I'm still learning.

SnowDeac
What radar/OBS trends are causing this cliff diving?
