CoastalWx
OE is definitely onshore per radar and my eyeballs. Very different snow now Yes it's coming west, but 98% of the snow so far was from mid level frontogenesis. The arcing band from WSW-ENE says it all. TalcottWx
It is. OES is offshore. It looks like OES on the south shore, Mid levels boosting it? Edit : just saw ur post

Hoth
Will this push BOS to #2 all-time winter? Not sure we get there today. Very light dusting. Maybe Logan gets a bit more.
leesun
Been snowing with bright sun for the better part of 3 hours. What is it with the weenie band forming in W. CT?
tavwtby
Yeah this one had a great look for a weenie band...too bad for many of us the vortmax was too strung out...but SE MA and RI and SE CT cashed in. AWT. Will, for years I have been seeing AWT, and I must have missed what that means, please advise. Thanks.

TauntonBlizzard2013
Taunton... I'd assume its more than that in Lakeville at this point.

In my world it's all OE all the time. Ginxy lives at 500, I live at 1000. Kidding aside I could see the change here to the classic big flakes. It's cellular right now under the band, they push through for a few minutes and the flakes are huge and pounding, then it's back to normal flakes and moderate. (wind) Trajectory is now straight from about Manomet to here too..
Mr. Windcredible!
So did anyone end up with more than 3" in CT? Ginxy? Perhaps somewhere down in far SW CT?

Clinch Leatherwood
Still snowing nicely with dim sun lol. You're in such a good spot for OE. I know this isn't really that event but one of these days/years you'll have a blast there. Whatever the physics are behind the flakes they just accumulate so well
Damage In Tolland
Steady light snow with big fluffy flakes under sunshine thru milky clouds. Could probably tan while it's snowing. At least the nape

kocab
Pretty much continuous snow here in Providence since mid morning. At least a couple of inches of accumulation, maybe more. The snow is as fluffy as I've ever seen. Like cotton candy fluffy. It is making the roads pretty slippery though.
