It's been nice to not have many worries about a storm. lol

Accumulating snow has looked certain for NW MA since Sunday night.

Haha yeah you and Dendrite and Dryslot have had very, very little to fear for like the last 48 hours.  Up here and down SE its been back and forth rollercoaster...whether its cirrus up here or mixing down there.

He is backcasting....not forecasting.

He has a preconceived notion and latched for dear life to the first rogue run that fit that preconceived notion.

There is a lot of bad meteorology tonight. I swear Pete B thought rain to ORH. Yeah, ok. I still think you are getting a good dumpage, Suslak style.

What a tough forecast for Boston metro...

0z NAM more consistent with 12z NAM, though still warmer aloft

700mb temps > 0 through much of the event all the way to NH border in eastern MA

On this run depiction, Boston actually does better on the backend (between 03z-07z)

as for people following "Tourette's", the entire 18z suite (NAM, GFS, RGEM, 21z SREFs) jumped warmer... I still give most weight to RGEM, and 0z will be very telling.
