They used to believe (at least in jest) that tornadoes couldn't hit Norman, right up until 5/10/10 when a tornado dropped down right along Rt. 9 across from the NWC and became a low end EF4 headed toward Little Axe. Then they got hit again 1 year later (4/13/12) with a weak one. To make a long story short, yeah, you should see something decent even if you don't chase.
