yeah, that's pretty much how I feel. I was feeling a cold spring and it just makes sense to see mid May snow after the winter we just went through

Pretty much, it is still a bit funny considering how warm it was just a few days ago.

In town was mostly wet but car temp went down a couple degrees to around 32-33 outside town and there was a few square mile zone with legit accumulations on everything but pavement.

That's so wild!

Too warm up this way for any snow. Just a trace of rain earlier.

It's a really compact system.

According to the local media, some cold air funnels have been spotted in Warren county. Also sleet covering roads to the north of LAF. Fun weather.

I noticed SPS out for the funnels.  Maybe we can get a repeat of this from 2005?  :guitar:

This is pretty amazing for the middle of the afternoon in mid-May. Notice the low 40s in parts of northeast IL and near the lake elsewhere.

Certainly impressive. Interestingly, the high 3 years ago almost to the day was 46 at ORD, on 5/15. However, it appears the anomalous cold was more localized that day. RFD had a high of 59.
