CAPE Posted March 8, 2014 Share Posted March 8, 2014 How impressive was it Monday when it was snowing sideways, a sheet of ice underneath, and the strong March sun was impotent with temps barely 20. Not a hint of melting or a clue it was March. Even Tuesday had limited melting. Quite an event, and the end of a pretty remarkable winter. We wont see cold like that again for many months. Looks like one more cold and stormy shot and by then even when it's around average it is still 50's and sun is for real now. I rank this winter as my 7th best since started keeping records 1965.
