NAM is now painting upwards of 0.25 region wide by 18z tomorrow.  That's a good deal wetter than anything we've seen modeled for this in a good while.

Yeah, but close to .2 is after temps are above freezing from Harrisonburg/Richmond north. Unless wedge holds stronger than modeled. It still will cuase a mess until 10ish or so.

I don't think the event is worth me writing and article but will be supplying a quote to CWG.   The timing of the precip is definitely and issue as any snow or freezing rain during rush hour can cause problems.  I still think .25 is really pushing it for QPF given how weak the 500h system is but...who knows.

For you guys out west it always does, for us easterners, not so much unless the high is to our north.  I get my warmth from the Atlantic, takes longer to get out to you guys.
