  2. Just a friendly reminder the hummingbirds are already in Northern Virginia heading into Maryland get your feeders out!

Hopefully you're right because we drive across that bridge every freaking day twice and I guarantee you there's going to be a crap ton of car accidents due to people not familiar with taking another route the big trucks are going to be out there again cuz they can't go through the tunnel it's really going to be horrible

  6. This storm over on the other side of the river from you has stalled right here it looks like it's going to lighten up a little bit and move on and then out of nowhere The wind kicks up again with more rain and lightning strikes

  13. Well the ospreys have arrived, which means the hummingbirds will be showing up in a few weeks as well. It's time to get the feeders out
  14. I was outside watching all the eagles flying around in the wind and then I heard the front coming in was pretty loud, one little bit of thunder and then it roared through here at 40 mph
  15. This wind is not messing around we just got a 47 mph wind gust. Had to run outside and save the grill cover from blowing away. Bungee cords will take care of that problem!
  16. Bayside started with ice pellets hitting the windows followed by 40 mph wind gusts and flurries mixing in. Our crepe myrtles are taking a beating from the wind. Current wind 33 miles per hour 33° wind chill 18. And rolling White Caps in the creek.

  18. (1/2) The Maryland Department of Emergency Management continues to monitor Hurricane Ian closely. The situation is fast-moving and continues to develop so please remain vigilant. Ian will bring periods of light to moderate rain Friday night through Sunday as well as the risk of inland flooding and flash flooding. Periods of gale-force winds are possible at times through Monday, mainly for ocean beaches and south of Drum Point/Cobb Point MD on the Chesapeake/Potomac.
