believe it or now, there are flake a flying lol.  winds are howling and i figured moisture was gone. just ran the dog out and realized we are getting a decent snow flurry (yeah i know but i am in ga so we take what we can get) lol

 

edited to add: forgot to put in the temp.  its already 23, about 15-20 degrees colder than the last time i was out earlier this evening

LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS. WIND CHILLS WILL ALSO BE VERY COLD.

* ACCUMULATIONS...A TRACE TO HALF INCH.

* TIMING...THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY MORNING.

It's snowing like crazy here in Old Fort very unexpected have a dusting on the ground, the sidewalk has a nice glaze of ice and the cars have a dusting to half an inch. Pic was about 45 minutes ago! Just very surprised to look out and see snow much less snow on the ground

I was about to go to bed (early day tomorrow) til saw the flurries seem to be going to snow showers. I can see the haze towards white cty and seems to be picking up here with bigger flakes. Maybe the winds are strong enough for some of the snow to make it farther east. Seems like forever since this last happened. Think gps termed it breaking containment (quite appropriate)

East Cobb, just east of 75 and just north of 285... that area is getting trained over with flurries and what radar looks to be showing as a snow shower.

 

Sad we are watching light bands like this.  LOL
