usedtobe
Snow that doesn't fall doesn't accumulate either. Still, I'd love to see that map happen for you guys. Me too but I'm forecast to be 40 degrees when the precip falls, maybe it could end as snow after nighfall but that's about it.
PhineasC
This thread feels more like the MA of the last two winters. The past week+ was an abnormality.

snowfan
How much of a difference between this past week and the few episodes of snow we received last year around Christmas? That really did nothing for last year's winter.
Fozz
How much of a difference between this past week and the few episodes of snow we received last year around Christmas? That really did nothing for last year's winter. Most of last December was a hideous torch and one of the warmest Decembers ever. This December has been very wintry for a lot of us so far and whatever torch we get will most likely be short lived.

snowfan
I get that, but I'm more concerned with actual snowfall. Cold does nothing for me unless it results in snowfall. Anyway, here are the December '12 snowfall numbers for the big 3: DCA: .2 BWI: 1.4 IAD: 2.2 To date in December '13: DCA: 1.5 BWI: 2.9 IAD: 4.5 Most of last December was a hideous torch and one of the warmest Decembers ever. DCA still has ways to go but it's still way better than last December in all three airports (unless it means a lot to you to have snow right around Christmas week).
