NYS is going to struggle to have a 1000 CAPE tomorrow. Dynamics with the system have increased, but at the cost of instability. I'm not even sure if the 30% is warranted.

Agreed. There might be too much shear and updrafts may have a really tough time becoming organized and developing solid vertical structure.

Storm to the west of me seems to have perked up in the last few mins with some thunder

Quite a few cells firing across the higher els from th Monads up toward 89. I have a tall tower just to my west now...I'm interested to see the next couple of frames from GYX.

Storm northwest of KCON looks like it's dropping quarters.

* AT 343 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL.

THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR WEARE...OR 6 MILES SOUTH OF

HENNIKER...AND WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH. TORRENTIAL RAINFALL

ALSO ACCOMPANIES THIS STORM.

AT 310 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO

INDICATE NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS WITH TORRENTIAL RAINS AND FREQUENT

LIGHTNING OVER WESTERN FRANKLIN COUNTY. THE FLASH FLOOD THREAT HAS

INCREASED AND THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR A VERY SERIOUS SITUATION TO

DEVELOP IF SEVERAL MORE INCHES OF RAIN OCCUR.

DOPPLER RADAR WAS INDICATING THAT 3 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN

NEAR THE BORDER OF BERKSHIRE AND FRANKLIN COUNTY...OVER THE COLD

RIVER AND NORTH BRANCH OF THE DEERFIELD RIVER. THE POTENTIAL EXISTS

FOR ANOTHER 2 TO 3 INCHES TO FALL AS STORMS CONTINUE TO FORM OVER

THE SAME AREAS.
