Well there you have it. So in the winter, 2.6" is 3" and 1.2" is almost 1.5". So on and so on. What an inflation.

Well it does take a little bit of number fudging to try and justify that he averages as much snow as Ray. He has to make up that 3" per year deficit somehow.

Muggy to me is less than humid... muggy to me means a little sticky like 60-63 dews..where humid means dews near 70..anything over 70 is oppressive

this i agree with. the 60-70 range is annoying but the 70+ days, which thankfully aren't all that common around here, are the ones where you just don't want to leave the A/C...immediate swamp.

Anyone that tells me that a 64 or 65 dew is comfortable has a few screws loose IMO. Any type of physical activity and your drawers are instantly soaked

I always watched Channel 4 in BUF growing up...60-65 was humid...65-70 was very humid and over 70 was muggy/oppressive

I'm not sure if there is any objective definition out there.

i don't know...a 64/65 dew is only rough, imo, the first time you deal with it in a summer season. once you've had that first wave of several days at 68-72F type stuff and it settles back to the low to mid 60s it's kinda meh.

It's also 80/64... if it was 96/64 then it's much worse lol

LOL..with dews in the upper 60's?

Some people have the ability to function comfortably under a wide array of conditions. Others, that live their lives like veal, need constant climate control.

is it 80 degrees there? looks like it's close.

76 was the high @ 2k, and 78 here. It's been very breezy and that's made the conditions fantastic for keeping the Black flies at bay.

Just got off the mountain... still snow up there. Rather continuous snow cover starts in the woods around 3,500ft... but it is widely variable due to melt patterns this time of year. Still, I was impressed at how the temperature dropped about 15 degrees once you hit the snow line. Sort of like that feeling when you open the freezer door in mid-July and get blasted with cold air. Very, very refreshing.

First time I've ever wandered through snow while being in a Tornado Watch.
