  1. Past hour
  2. To be fair to mother nature, I heard a branch break when I went outside.
  3. Plows starting to catch up now but its still horrendous. Definitely heavy snow in the 80s and 90s mile markers on gsp.
  4. I figured it out. It’s a 16oz can. So 6.1”
  5. Just went from moderate snow to not much of anything, but what is falling is sleet.
  6. Lol they inched it up after that one Sent from my SM-S166V using Tapatalk
  7. 1. The snow starts ahead of schedule in CT. On schedule everywhere else. 2. The sleet is ahead of schedule. 3. 6-8” maximum
  8. Bro the whole area should see a foot… areas NW of 287 could approach 18
  9. We're in a little subsidence area looks like based on radar. Snow sounds icy against the window. Might go back and forth like the NoVA folks are getting.
  10. Snowflakes falling less sideways now as they get heavier (as in weight) and bigger. It is also heavier rate wise.
  11. Overheard at the rink this morning: "It's only supposed to snow for 6 hours so I don't know how we're supposed to get 3 feet." Nearly bit my tongue all the way off. OVC 2°/-10°
  12. I am enjoying it but i'm just saying there is a dry area down to the southwest of us.I don't like to see that.I'm just pointing it out
  13. After that band it lightened up, in a lull now. Looks like just a bit of sleet falling now.
  14. Snow is HOLDING ON in Gaithersburg. I see that SN/Sleet line in Bethesda. You better STAY over there hahaha.
  15. This morning I found a temp of 13 in Union City and a 61 in Townsend. Nearly a 50 degree spread across the state.
  16. Kinda hard to classify the intensity of sleet, but I’d say this is mod-heavy. Don’t mind it actually
  17. First plow just went by. Time to go move the heavy stuff 5/2/NE3/SN+
  18. Big storm then crushing HP with extended stretch below 32... Winter of Yore? Sent from my SM-S166V using Tapatalk
  19. I hate sleet. It's going to take the damn Incredible Hulk to shovel this crap.
  20. Fortunately, at least, the NAM was not correct in terms of QPF it appears. But yeah, there was no way the mid-level thermals were going to hold on in our area through the entire morning (though my hope of hopes was that we'd luck out through 18Z!).
