beaches here staffed with lifeguard looking at empty beaches and certainly no one in the water. Got to be boring as hell.
-
Been nothing but overcast since 730am. Kinda sucks :/

9 in a row. You might be onto something.

Weird temp day - long sleeves I got warm, short sleeves a bit cool.

Incredible May this is turning out to be. Neighborhood entrance flooded for first time ever in 19 years last week. Now more heavy flooding rains. I read the AMO was going negative for first time in a long long time. Read also it will change the wx patterns dramatically. Maybe this is the beginning. I don’t remember a May being this wet & cool.

Pleasant, but by my standards too cool and quiescent Memorial Day weekend and most of the remainder of May on tap. If I hadn't gone to get the Arnett last weekend it'd be yet another of those springs where I'd be going stir-crazy.

Put the dock in yesterday on Winnisquam. Been doing it for 40 years, took me 3 hours to warm up afterwards. About the worst anyone could remember.

I was off Friday too, so this has been three days of 10/10 weather. Tomorrow looks perfect too. We’ve been hitting the trails a lot. Best Memorial Day weekend ever.

Less than a month and we start losing daylight again. Summer is flying by! 67F -
And it's gone.

It’s nice out, but we’ve had to fight off some periodic clouds and wind the last couple days, though that’s normal in cool weather patterns around here. I’m definitely ready for summer-like weather.

Sun last hour or so

Wish it would stay out for a good 30-45 minutes even. Feels worlds different when sun is poking out

Yeah this is why the beaches and swimming down there are considered much better than the ones up here lol.

High 57° Limping to summer

Nice and sunny in S FL. Miami Beach around 90 with full sun. Air show down here has been great, as you can be in the water swimming and enjoying the planes flying over you compared to back home on land, since water is freezing.

It becomes extremely rare to see this kind of weather by June 20th. Our weather changes usually time up well with the seasons. So just going by our climate alone, if this weather does keep going, I see less than a 10% chance of it continuing past June 15th or so. The rainfall has also been higher to our north so I'd say that will continue too, with either average or below normal rainfall near the coast at our latitude.

luckily some of us have space heaters to hold the crap weather at bay.

I guarantee you if the weather stays like this, the beach economy is going to go to shit.

I got that shower for you.

I’m jealous. I’ll gladly take it today.

The first storm appears to have produced ~1.5” within a short period. A 2nd thunderstorm started here ~10 minutes ago producing some heavy rain and once again plentiful CTG lightning. This is on the northern end of a line moving eastward. Just to my south this line has been severe warned.
