  1. Past hour
  2. At least we can watch the OV get their 25th derecho of the season. Wiz, get a new hobby.
  3. Do you mean the actual model data, or just the bogus tropical tidbits output?
  4. I had 1.34” from the storms last night. I feel like we’ve been dry for a few summers in August and September, but not this year. .
  5. I had 1.34” from the storms last night. I feel like we’ve been dry for a few summers in August and September, but not this year. .
  6. What do you mean, a ridge extending down from the arctic through the west coast, rather than a more traidtional, El Nino-forced PNA ridge?
  7. Key to all these is RI or last minute organization right before LF. Great examples. I think S FL gets some brown ocean effect simply due to the swampiness/ever present water of that part of the state. Wilma and Katrina are other examples of storms that did not weaken over S FL.
  8. 1.89” over the last 24 hours, 2.33” for the month already.
  9. Were you predicting -PNA for the season, though? What you are referring to is simply misinterpretation of a seasonal chart....I recall someone was telling me that the PNA would average negative. Anyway, NBD...I wasn't trying to call anyone out.
  10. My interpretation of that is volatility.....biased + first half, neutralish to perhaps even somewhat negative second half.....but AO should be negative.
  11. Well can’t even get .25” . Webbed hands and his sack all over my face.
  12. 49 for the overnight low here... 40 at the yellow dog. Looks like another nice day with just a slight chance of showers tonight and tomorrow. Endless string of 70's in the forecast.
  13. some rain last night, great for sleeping, windows open currently 63/62, looks like AC season may be over
  14. Stay warm and dry through November for all i care then snap that rubber band for December through February
  15. Wouldn't mind warm and dry (read: not humid) September and October at this point. Soupy October is the worst
  16. Appears to be some rain headed this way will it be a nickle or a dime?
  17. Following the warmest August and warmest month on record in the ERA-5 dataset, September 1 started with a global mean temperature of 16.739C. That destroyed the monthly record of 16.607C from September 1, 2024. The preliminary 0.132C difference between the new mark and the old record is the largest difference between any first and second highest monthly values.
  18. .55” yesterday .60” from this morning’s storms
  19. Since midnight, picked up 2.85” of rain, in the last 24 hours 3.89” and month to date its 4.58” here in Lebanon. Amazing. Anything else today will be just pure trouble .
  20. 0.16 yesterday, looking like a stinker today! I'm looking forward to the nicer temps this weekend. September is my favorite summer month
  21. 60/ .17" Davis/ Shop Davis 2-3 miles away .08" lol
  22. Yet another exceptionally unpleasant, sunless, stiflingly muggy morning. I can't WAIT for real fall.
