    I never pay attention to surface temp anomalies on a smoothed seasonal model. Just not realistic that a low res/LR tool can resolve something that localized. I only look at h5 to get a general idea of the big picture advertised pattern. Latter half of winter looks potentially decent as modeled. KU coming.

    Just build a fog chiller for my fog machine (to keep the smoke dense and low). Setup the graveyard today outside. Just have to scatter some random bones around and Im good to run.

    Looks like 1 to 3 inches of rain ahead, mainly Saturday night. The SW Mountain area could be the big winners for this event. Next Tuesday looks chilly! Lows Wednesday morning are hinting at mid to upper 30's.

    1. Technically FYI, “super” is not an official category for NOAA. I think they call those with RONI max of +2.0+ “very strong” or something similar. But here we including myself usually call them “super”. 2. 72-3 barely qualifies as “super” or “very strong” per the RONI table: https://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/analysis_monitoring/enso/roni/
