0.05" yesterday here and 0.00" so far today from the mist and periodic drops of rain. Definitely not complaining. Everything here is wet and green as it is. Don't really want or need another 2"-3" on top!

Mm ...he may partially be right ... I've been watching this and comparing it to various guidance. When this region pivots N, and it's not 'filling' in or back redeveloping as it's been pushing coherently N, it's like to shut off the spigot pretty abruptly. We lull... question is, would there then be a rejuvenation as a kind of weak easterly anomaly conveyor temporarily sets up while the filling closed low rolls underneath... ? Maybe. The NAM is paltry with that tho. And given the weakening kinematics ...that's not necessarily tossed. The 30-40 percent rain chances for the weekend disappeared and the 40-50 percent Monday forecast was a dud here with nothing. It's barely even thundered this spring. Crazy stuff.

I feel that it's time that we have a real serious discussion about next week's heat potential. Some places in and around the I-95 corridor could approach near record monthly high temperatures next Tuesday, if this air mass lives up to it's full billing!

All I’ve been hearing about is this big Rainer Thursday and it looks like a massive bust here, either way.

Seems like a rain event with maybe some cutover to snow briefly in some lower elevation places.

That's an understatement. Some places got almost half an inch of rain but the vegetation continues to suck it all up. Almost nothing is making it into ground water.
