It least it wasn't a massive difference like we often see with borderline snowstorms. It's a lot easier to be happy for someone's 16 inches of snow when you got a foot

Hey Steve...if adding sleet yes it is a simple add in inches to the previous snow total. Reported depth is even if compacted a bit with sleet density the actual inches. Not sure that was your question but....let me know.

Always nice to have another big threat to track immediately after a major storm, and not at like day 12 either. This storm was great, had some awesome rates overnight with a couple hours of elite snow growth, historic sleet bomb, true arctic cold. Rare to see around these parts.

Y’all, now that the majority of this forum escaped catastrophic ice, I can say that was a damn fun storm! Always enjoy a good sleet bomb. That one was real close to peeling off like 6 inches here as well, just set up a shade too far north unfortunately. .

Looking like the back edge in Pennsylvania is going to be heading into Southern New England in the next hour or two. Unless the precip redevelopment and back fills to keep it going until later on tonight. Just not sure

As of 7:30 pm, a total of 11.5" of snow and sleet fell here today. Decent, but disappointed. Sitting in the dryslot with hardly anything falling. Hopefully the 1-3 that CTP is saying materializes later.

Backfilling, hopefully not for long.

Is this the same signal for 2nd or 3rd of February?
