  2. Warmest day of the year 87.5 for the high in East Nantmeal
  3. What a field day for the Heat …. Thousands of people in the streets
  4. Looks like CEF hit 90 as well as BDL. Impressive day around here.
  5. I’ve been enjoying the early warm up, but party is over on Sunday. I’m not looking forward to freezing while coaching my daughter’s softball team on Monday evening.
  6. Today's highs TEB: 93 New Brnswck: 92 PHL: 91 ACY: 90 BLM: 90 EWR: 90 NYC: 89 TTN: 88 LGA: 86 HPN: 85 ISP: 82 JFK: 80
  7. Nothing from last night to my knowledge. The Tuesday night line went all around me with a gap over Sparta. I only recorded a trace. Meanwhile, western PA and up through Buffalo, Finger Lakes and the upstate is having it's third night in row of a pretty solid line of storms. No rain issues there.
  8. It actually looks really nice. Anything but rain.
  9. Got this earlier as a cell crawled down from Clare. not a ton of lightning, but really crisp updrafts all around.
  10. Today
  11. The line of storms that had been modeled to hit here and skip into Kentucky, fell apart here and re-consolidated down south of here. Looked like decent rain for those areas in the valley when it wasn't really supposed to rain at all, it remains dusty dry here. Hopefully the complex in the mid-state holds together but models have it weakening as it gets this way.
  12. Yeah, it's over. Good luck making it to Sunday. Groomers can do magic but I had two locals tell me today was their last day.
  13. Got this guy on Monday. Was on a tornado-warned nasty green HP near Dodgeville/Barneveld/Mt. Horeb, WI Tuesday evening. Other photos from recent chases in my storm chasing Flickr album: https://flickr.com/photos/andywskies/albums/72157655308092622/
  14. Don’t look at the GFS if you thought it was going to rain again in NC this month
  15. severe storm coming right into Nashville
  16. The afternoon turned out surprisingly nice. It’s always crazy to ski when it’s that mild and humid. Snowpack crying for its mama. This outta help, ha.
  17. If next week is sunny, it won’t be too bad. Sure, won’t be 80s, but 60-65 and sun is good
  18. Yesterday
  19. High of 86. Starting to acclimate to activity in the heat more now. I was feeling underpowered.
  20. this winter was great.. and that's about when we usually lose it anyway.. sun angle starts to be a bit much by then
  21. Cansips still onto another cold winter here in the Lakes. I have my doubts, but it by far was the best model locally last winter. This is why it will be interesting to follow along this summer. After 2 cold winters, personally I expect a mild winter next year, tho not nearly to the extreme that a few here are undoubtedly hoping for. Those of us at more northern latitudes have seen multiple snowstorms track south the last few years (more than usual) so as always seeing how ALL the indicies, the Pacific, etc behave is just as important as actual temp anamolies.
  22. I fear it's going to be like last August but with rain. The whole time.
  23. You lost winter in late Feb. sorry bout that
  24. Then hit up Treehouse Deerfield on this warm July night, packed. Folks in short shorts outside. 80 degrees still my goodness
  25. The Tuck has been good wading and fishing with the low water levels
