Hard to go against that look

Yeah, I've been tracking storms for this region long enough to never count out a north trend in the last 1-2 days. What keeps me optimistic is the precip shield has been ticking further west all the way across VA in some of the credible models. Otherwise, it could be confined all the way south into eastern NC, at which point I'd have been ready to write this off. It was almost looking that way yesterday, and then it trended west last night into this morning.

Basically you and I think are in the same boat to some extent, we need to hope the GFS is right and then bump it north 50-100 miles. Maybe that is a miracle I’m asking for lol.

This mornings Euro makes me wonder if we might see some more ticks west from the other models today and as was mentioned can this storm close off farther to the North ? Let's see what the other guidance says as today progresses but IMO this is far from a done deal or OTS

We can definitely get 75-100 miles NW out of this system at this lead time. People giving up are crazy. We do want to see consistent positive trends soon but even the most likely outcome now gives eastern LI a few inches.

Ghd was our moment but the chicago crew pulled it nw last minute. Ill have nightmares of hearing pingers from that one for years.

That double low feature continues yielding some big challenges. If that isn't a real thing this mostly comes west...but you never know with those features
