    It’s weakened so just heavy rain and some 30 or so gusts but it’s more impressive than I figured. It survived the mountains - a rarity!

    Literally poured for 30 seconds. The biggest, heaviest, loudest drops i have ever seen. Like somebody turned on a switch, then turned it off. The cell seemed to split right over my yard. Best went to the north. Did pick up another quick .15". About 1.3" total this evening. Desperately needed.

    Certainly not impossible. For landfall I think it’d need to develop pretty close as El Niño tends to recurve TCs the further out they are with a weaker subtropical ridge.

    That definitely is what happened around these parts today. I’m at .11 so far of mist and drizzle that never showed up on radar and was not modeled. I checked lower elevation amounts and it was 0.00 to .02 .
