  2. You guys did well in 1997-98 if I recall. I would definitely rather have some elevation this winter.
  3. Just got home, trees down in a lot of places in Stafford County, including our yard. Talking to neighbors it seems like it was a downburst around 4:45 PM or so on 8/8.

  12. Sane here..just the usual 15 mins or so of gusty winds from the outflow boundary and now back to our regularly scheduled sauna. These dews are really something man.
  13. lol, it’s still summer and the weenies are already starting to lash out. Seethe harder little man, your “colder and snowier” winter which you were wishcasting earlier isn’t happening. The weather and climate don’t revolve around your backyard either.
  14. Don 1991 and 2010 were in a league of their own with 90 degree highs every month from April through September. 1991 had 6 90 degree highs in the month of May and 2010 had upper 90s into September. The period of first 90 degree high to last 90 degree high in 1991 and 2010 might be unsurpassed. Back then we used to go straight from Winter into Summer. 1896 is also notable for having the first extended heatwave on record a 10 day heatwave in which 1500 people died.
  15. Yesterday
  16. 91/71 split today with 0.13" rain.
  17. It's not like I'm against all rain just excessive anomalous flooding all day rains. Yesterday was ideal here. It was sunny 90 percent of the day. Clouds moved in around 2 pm and it rained hard for 30 minutes and the sun was back out by 3 pm. 0.7 inches of rain. This is what I like to see and quite normal for summertime not all day cloudy and gloomy with 2 and 3 inches of rain. That was fun in 2011 because it was a novelty but it gets old pretty quickly. The amount of rain we got yesterday was perfect and so was the sunshine the rest of the day the only thing that could have made yesterday better would have been a rainbow after the rain ended. If we had this kind of monsoon pattern every summer the Yankees and Mets would both need to have domes over their stadiums like the teams in Florida do and something I wished for last night with the game which started after 9 pm and ended after midnight omg.
