  2. No way, I’m jealous of western md right now.
  3. i'm supposed to feel less comfortable during hot weather because outdoor workers exist? lol

  5. 2010 and 2011 are the ultimate regress to the mean seasons. Both years had so much snow in little time, but ended rather abruptly. Late spring/early summer absolutely torched during those years, and many all-time hot records were broken during those two years (2012 as well, but that winter never really happened that year, outside of a freak late October snowstorm).
  6. Low of 27, high of 74. A little too warm but still very dry out there. Snow piles are melting fast.
  7. I wish I could be optimistic and say that winter is over....nope. The Weeklies are bleak when it comes to cold returning(meaning a very cold March and last week of February). I think we are seeing the same pattern repeat itself. Strong cold shot, 2-3 week warm-up....wash, rinse, repeat. The coldest temps are just outside of the range of deterministic models at this point. Now, could the weeklies be wrong? For sure. Some winters break for spring exactly like this. But the Weeklies tend to suggest that winter hangs on, and probably more than most would like.
  8. Lol all in fun bc it’s just snow but you are much more forgiving - we had 12-15” total in December while they had 4-8” and since then they are at 30-50” and we are about 15-20” we aren’t even. Eastern New England is definitely just a better snow spot than our back yards we just have to accept it.
  9. Southern CT didnt get much of anything that system outside of the hills of interior New Haven and Nrn parts of the southern counties. I got less than what i expected, it rained.
  10. Physical labor is hard! And you want people to do it outside?! How dare you Sir!
  11. That baja ridging is going to be key if we are getting any help with blocking on the atlantic side.
  12. 45.1. Funny to see the mid-upper 50s out in Garrett Co and Frostburg.
  13. Yup. I have no issues with getting 8-10”, and peeps east getting 12-13”, cuz I’m not greedy, or have a JP fetish. But I would pass on 8-10” if EOR is getting 28-34”. Don’t want to see somebody just to my east get 3x the snow in one storm. We saw that in ‘15 enough for us westerners to last a lifetime. And then in January of ‘22 it happened again with that big blizzard. So that’s why I wasn’t all that sympathetic when they’ve gotten boned the last 4-5 years. it had to happen. But now we all even again. And all is right in the snow universe.
  14. Wow.. it feels good outside. Normally I'm depressed to see the snow melt, but after that stretch Ill allow it. Time to get into big dog hunting.
  15. It took you 575 posts to finally figure out we have issues? You need to concentrate harder.
  16. Warmth won’t last per EWs for last few days, including today’s, as SE goes back down to back and forth averaging NN and NE goes back to cold: these are for 2/23-3/1
  17. Knew it was the last week of March 2022. I did have to cheat and look up the exact date.
