SnowenOutThere
Believe snowshoe top of mountain has their first flakes of the season https://www.snowshoemtn.com/media-room/skidder-slope-live-cam. Think I'll head out to the mountains and try to catch the jet streak induced precip. 2
dailylurker
It's really coming down here east of DC. Much heavier rain then I expected. Radar also looks pretty impressive.

We are at about 1.1 so far. 1

snowfan
HRRR says we start to clear out after noon. A good morning to get stuff done. It’s currently 33 with winds gusting to 28 at dolly sods. And full blown winter conditions in NNE where KMWN is reporting below 0 WCs with snow accumulating.

Still on the mountain (some cell service) and it’s alternating between bursts of dendrites and sleety rain. Moss is a bit white. Totally worth the trip. 17

You got me curious so double checked to make sure my PWS is working right based on other nearby obs. Since midnight lines up with Lusby and Cambridge mesonets which was the direction the rain was moving from. Easton meso must have just been just missing the rates or has something messing up the reading cause that is much lower than adjacent sites. Other local pws in Easton have similar event totals. Much needed rain. 36.68" for the year now. Still might get average rainfall amount even with prolonged drought.
