NWS says 70% for me after 5 pm.   Graf says 48%.   I say 20%.........................                      

 

The Graf scored closer to reality than the NWS for Staunton/Waynesboro yesterday evening.  Staunton/Waynesboro didn't get a drop.

NWS says 60% this pm while Graf says 41%...............   With an approaching front tomorrow that will stall over the Central Valley for Saturday, my probs. crawl up from 30% today to 40% for Friday and 50% on Saturday.

I do not think the northern tier has to worry about those temps.

Nothing severe here despite the warning.  Could see the low clouds racing across the sky but winds never translated to the surface.  Decent rainfall though with 0.35” from the fast-moving line.

Yea the clouds are thick and rolling in quickly. Has a tropical look to it.

Sounds nice. But noticing that split going on heading right my way. That is on par.

Yep.  PA is just as mountainous as here, yet no downslope or rain shadow for them.

I don't know, the Philadelphia area is often in a drought pattern when we're in one too.

SC PA has done pretty well the last 2 days, but its amazing how we are part of that Hagerstown split that happens a lot. Chambersburg and Frederick will get smoked and we'll get a little distant thunder on the M/D.

People here look at Pittsburg and the Alleghenies and extrapolate that weather magically changes as soon as you cross the Mason Dixon. Look at the philly forum and a lot of times they're dealing with the same patterns as us. It holds in winter too if there's been a lack of Miller B's.

Well the radar sure collapsed.  What a terrible, pathetic day.  It feels like a miserable July evening.  Any radar returns here are coming from the mosquitoes, certainly not precip.
