SnowGoose69
Mets/Phillies game may not finish, especially with Nola going the Mets may actually score runs and it likely won't be a fast game. The VIS of 1-3 SM is moving south fast towards the park and should be there by 730-
guinness77
I’m on west end of tracks 1 and 2 in Jamaica and the pics really aren’t doing it justice. Obvious smoke in the air, an overt campfire smell, you can feel it in your chest. Lots of people masking up. It’s feeling pretty post-apocalyptic here.

LongBeachSurfFreak
actually can see the smoke in the air here in north central NJ - weird smell - what type of trees are burning up there in Canada ? Typical boreal stuff like black spruce, red spruce, balsim fir and birch’s. Maybe a few hardwoods mixed in because it’s not that far north like sugar and red maple. . TJW014
Wild lightning with that stray storm in south Ocean/Burlington Counties. Just keeps on back building too. Friend of mine on LBI had pea size hail. I wonder how much of an effect all the particulates in the atmosphere from the wildfires have on lightning production
