As usual the highest rainfall totals pushed way to the NE over the ocean East of NJ.  However,  Mount Holly is still bullish.  

 Rainfall totals through
tomorrow, will range from around 1 to 1.50 inches across much of the
area with localized higher amounts. While this may be unpleasant,
especially since it will be over the weekend, it is good to remember
that this is a beneficial rainfall.

Radar is not looking particularly inspiring for drought relief.  I planted a whole bunch of mountain laurel at the cabin yesterday and it's sprinkling right now so I'll take it.

Last time we were entering a niño we were having snow level futility in regards to rain well into June.

Workable temps. We might have past the inflection point in which cold fronts don’t feel quite as miserable. Some rain incoming…not much, but it’s something.

Leaving UVA for the semester next Friday and I'm pissed now that I've realized I won't get a single shot of a shelf cloud over grounds. There hasn't even been a single opportunity! Seriously, our severe weather game this year seems unusually weak.

Drove in to Accident to go to the cheese shop and drove through some very heavy rain.  We've had on and off rain here - got in a 3.5mile bushwhacking to The Glades earlier and avoided any rain then luckily.

Forecast for an inch has become a quarter to half inch here. I will strongly take the under. No worries though- mid to late week looks promising!

That came across as a talking down to, "Google it dummy" kind of post. That's pretty typical around here. Sometimes we manage despite less than ideal patterns.
