As the GM, its your (and your teams) job to do your homework on this shit before it gets to a point where the deal is announced and the guy you're signing is hanging out in town waiting for things to be finalized.

Im not even a Ravens fan and this deal falling through + losing, what, 9 guys already, is not great for EDC.

You think they didn't? We don't know what the Raiders may not have disclosed. And remember: ALL trades have a physical after they are initially agreed to (they are all pending a physical). Something unexpected must have shown up--EDC and the Ravens are not haphazard like that. I think we should reserve judgment until more information comes out.

C'mon man you're more logical than that, LOL They are not trading their franchise QB! And something tells me the Lamar deal is already done and just hasn't been announced (seems like they didn't announce the last extension until that Wednesday). Lamar liked a Tweet earlier today of someone guessing that the deal was done fwiw.

The plan may be shifting now to a rebuilding year which is unfortunate...but maybe have been unavoidable with having this many players be FAs all at once.

Come on man, a rebuilding year is unacceptable. Ofc they aren't trading Lamar... unless they are going to do a total rebuild, which they aren't.  LOL you you take everything so literally. Point is if his extension was done now, they wouldn't be so limited in the FA moves they could make, but clearly they are. Signing Simpson?? lmao. They haven't done a damn thing other than losing key players.

And you're way too hyperbolic--your sarcasm doesn't come across clearly on here. You have a few emotional sports takes on here sometimes so it can be hard to tell when you're serious and when you're not.

And I'm not so sure...4 of the 10 players that have left went to play for Harbaugh, and we know Lindy left for a deal we would've been insane to make. As for the other 5...maybe. But will find out for sure tomorrow.

I really hope against hope that Fall 2026 is one of the very WORST SUPER NINOs on Record. Maybe a ten billion year Super Nino.

I want rain so bad now, I wish we would get a Harvey that would be located about 50 miles southwester from Buda and spin for four weeks, pulling truly Brobdingnagian amounts of moisture out of the Gulf of Mexico, with persistent rain rates in excess of 3 inches per hour for days on end. I don't care how many people are impacted. I want my waters so bad.

I crave rain so bad. I want quagmires 20 feet deep! I would not mind 600 inches between Sept 2026 and April 2027.

Every storm is missing us. We're so desperate. Dallas has had 9 inches already. I've seen this before. We are heading right into a Super 2011, hell heat and absolutely no meaningful rain to be had.

Lamar knows his value. It would have surprised me if he got an extension paying the same as Tua, Jordan Love, Dak Prescott etc.

Chuck,

Crude has quietly risen $18 (to almost $95) just since the 1PM low of yesterday! Normally, this move alone would be quite notable. But after Monday’s near all time extreme volatility, it seems relatively orderly.

Yeah I've been playing an Up signal on it! I have it for tomorrow too (today since 6pm), but it is weaker than yesterday's. So far the CL trade is 2-0, +4%. Trump may do things to intentionally bring the price down though, that is my only fear with the investment.

seems like investors aren't biting yet.  Crude flirting with $100/bbl.

I'm not trolling. I'm being realistic. It doesn't normally snow in DC or Virginia in mid-March, much less following 80-degree days. The sun angle is just too strong.

You need something really special, like the Storm of the Century in 1993, for it to snow at this time of year. We don't have that right now.

solid, solid work

Sorry if I can't articulate this clearly and concisely enough.  I've been thinking about whether and how to say this for a while.  This winter there have been several examples of posters screaming "bullying" anytime someone says something they don't like.

I am neurodivergent.  As an adult I'm able to mask it well enough that it's not as socially crippling as it once was.  But I am intimately familiar with what bullying is.  No one on here is being bullied!  No one is being doxxed.  No one is being threatened.  No one is being personally mocked or ridiculed for who they are or their preferences.  No one is being cruelly made fun of for being weird or different.

Calling out bad behavior or criticizing someone's actions is NOT BULLYING.  Especially when it's done in a non threatening, and often only half serious, way in an online forum.

I know the internet is generally a cruel harsh place, but this forum is one of the most positive communities I am a part of.  Even when we are fighting and criticizing it is mostly done in a non threatening way.  I don't know if the bullying thing was thrown around as a calculated effort to deflect or mute criticism knowing the weight of that word...or if some people are confused about what real bullying actually is.  But I wanted to say this because bullying is a serious thing, and something I am very conscious of, and I wanted to make it clear what goes on in here when we banter with one another, is not bullying in my opinion, and saying it is minimizes real bullying.

Imo, there’s always been too much correction of people’s behavior on here. I definitely have at least 5k more posts than I should, but one thing I take pride in is my ability to scroll past a post I don’t agree with. I also have no one on my block list, but mostly because I tried and still saw their posts lol.

Adding to the subjective grade for this season. We had 2 events (Jan 25 and today) that aren’t very notable in snow totals but are pretty crazy in a variety of other metrics. Jan 25 for extreme cold and bonkers sleet and major snowpack duration. Today for a 50F temp drop and snow occurring within 12 hours of severe thunderstorms.

This winter was a memorable little devil lol. Lots of humbling experiences.

@GaWx Crude Oil went up +9.2% today, making the trade 3-0, +13.2% Total. I still have a Weak Up signal (4/10) tomorrow and Monday, then it looks like my technical indictor doesn't have a signal anymore.
